I had the pleasure of staying at your Hotel this weekend.I wish to congratulate you on the quality of your Staff, service and breakfast room.

Your staff are very helpful, extremely courteous and a credit to the Royal Group.

The Manager of the restaurant where we had breakfast is excellent. The service is exemplary and the choice of food at the buffet also very good.

We are regular visitors to Rome and will have no hesitation in staying with you again on our next visit.

Please pass my compliments to your staff.

    Warmest regards.

    “ Be back soon!”

    “Fantastic stay, staff and service!”

    Tripadvisor - Queens, New York

My husband and I spent 5 glorious nights at the Ambasciatori Palace hotel at the end of July. We felt right at home from the moment we stepped into this property. The entire staff are friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We chatted daily with Marco, Silvio and Flavio each morning at the front desk. The concierge Enzo is magnificent! He can give you a wealth of information, suggestions, places to visit, and recommend restaurants where the locals eat (not tourists). The hotel is located in a great location so that you can walk to many attractions, such as Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Burghese Museum/Gardens, etc.... We also booked a few sightseeing tours that picked us up from the hotel lobby which was very convenient. Enzo also suggested a supermarket within walking distance where we were able to buy beer, sodas, and bottles of water very cheaply which we kept in the room refrigerator.

We had a superior room which was very large with a large bathroom and terrace which faced the main street Via Veneto. Even though our hotel was right next to the Hard Rock Cafe, we heard NO NOISES at all. We were so tired from all the walking during the day that we fell fast asleep each night.

The breakfast buffet is super generous and fantastic. There is a huge hot food buffet with bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs. There is a huge cold food buffet with cereals, fruits (fresh), juices (try the blood red fresh OJ from Sicily), coldcuts, meats, cheeses,yogurts...yummy bread and cakes...what more can you ask for? The restaurant manager is a really friendly man who took time to talk to us about daily life in Italy. We were curious about housing and auto costs, etc...

We can only praise this hotel for the excellent staff and top-notch service we received. This was the first hotel we stayed in on our journey to Florence and Venice, and it was by far, the best of all the hotels. The breakfast was also by far the best and anyone who cannot find something to eat at this breakfast, must be extremely picky!!

We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on our next trip to Rome. Thanks again to all the staff, but especially Enzo, for your charming smile, personality and making each day special for us during our stay!

  • “I would not go away”

I was Ambasciatori Palace and I found myself very well, I'm really pleased!! I have to congratulate the hotel! The hotel service is great, the staff, especially the breakfast room and the bar is really friendly and attentive.
I really enjoyed the availability, kindness and constant attention reserved for us customers.
At the hotel lobby, I was greeted with a smile.
The breakfast was great and the old style atmosphere that reigns throughout the hotel I loved. My room, 218 was large and comfortable.
Strange to read negative reviews ... mah! Congratulations! I recommend

    “Dear Ambasciatorial Palace ”

    Dear Ambasciatorial Palace,
it is with regret that we have to leave you tomorrow. I would just like to express our appreciation of the super room and excellent hospitality that we received at your lovely hotel. Sitting on the balcony in the evenings helped towards a super and relaxing stay. Unfortunately we lost the football! But I wish Italy every success in the remainder of the competition.

We will leave a nice update on your customer feedback website.

    With best regards and arrivederci.

    “A memorable stay ”

We have just returned from our extended weekend break at the Ambasciatori Palace Hotel and wanted to thank you for a wonderful experience. Our room was excellent and all we could have wished for. We enjoyed the grandeur of the hotel with it's high ceilings and large rooms. Breakfast was a perfect start to the day with a good selection and is the best "hotel coffee and juice" we have had for some time!

The location on the Via Veneto was ideal and as a result we visited the Trevi Fountain several times and as well as the more popular attractions we particularly enjoyed our stroll through the Borghese Park on Sunday morning.

Thanks again for a memorable stay,

  • “Lovely ”

we stayed here for three nights from the 23rd of may on the last minute top secret deal, the hotel looks great from the outside and the in the lobby it is very grand!
the room we had was huge as was the bathroom! we got a taxi from the airport but not one of the white rome taxis as they wanted 60 euros! but on the way back the concierge told us not to pay anymore than 30 euros,
the concierge were great and helped with anything we needed giving us maps storing our luggage and giving advice in the best bus tours and stuff they were really helpful.
we had breakfast included in our room rate and the buffet was great loads of fresh fruit and cheeses and meat as well as a cooked breakfast selection there was plaenty there even on the day we arrived just half an hour before breakfast closed, we also got to sit outside on the terrace a couple of times which was lovely!
the bar is a little expensive but its not average compared to the other ristorantes on the same street.
Would very much recommend this hotel to anyone, the location is great you can walk anywhere in Rome within half an hour and most of the good stuff is really close! plus all the staff are very friendly and will do anything to help and make you feel welcome!

“ all the staff are very friendly and will do anything to help and make you feel welcome!”

    “Great experience ”

Thank you so much for taking such good care of me on my recent visit to Rome. Staying at the Ambasciatori is always a delightful experience for me and my suite with its beautiful terrace added to my enjoyment. I must add that all of your personnel are warm, eager to please and to make every effort to ensure that a guest is welcome and comfortable.

    With deep appreciation.

“ Staying at the Ambasciatori is always a delightful experience”

    “Great Hotel, fantastica Locatioon ”

I visited this hotel with my wife for our anniversery and was not dissappointed in any way.
Some other reviewers seem to have been disappointed with the decor of the hotel but in my view it was furnished in keeping with the building, the parts which had to be modern e.g. the bathrooms where.
All the staff were very frindly and efficient.
We only breakfasted in the hotel but the buffet had everything you could wish for, and why would you eat in when there were so many good restaurants and bars within walking distance.
all in all I would not hesitate to reccommend the Ambasciatori to anyone visiting Rome.

  • “Simply superb ”

We stayed 2 nights last weekend during a visit to see friends in Rome. We had booked a Junior Suite but were upgraded on arrival to a Senior Suite, overlooking Via Veneto, which consisted of an enormous salon, an equally spacious bedroom and a beautiful bathroom - approximately 100 square metres in total! The hotel is old and classically stylish and does not pretend to be otherwise. However, it is kept spotlessly clean and we saw no sign of the 'wear and tear' that others seem to have experienced. Service is friendly and prompt with none of the condescension that other 'grand hotels' practice. We were being hosted by our friends so did not try out the restaurant. However, the breakfast buffet is substantial and delicious. The hotel has 2 passenger lifts and during 'rush hour', you may have to wait a couple of minutes but this is a minor detail. Overall, a great hotel and outstandingly good value.

    “Stay in Rome ”

I wanted to mention this Hotel in Via Veneto, good location to move on foot to Rome, taken with a very advantageous offer Lastminute. The ancient structure is almost ancient, vintage draperies and wall coverings but the location and the staff really friendly and willing to fulfill every request (from the name of the rist in Trastevere to call a taxi, etc.) make it an excellent choice . Buffet breakfast varied and satisfying.

“ The location and the staff make it an excellent choice”

“Luxury hotel in Via Vittorio Veneto ”

We'd booked for a short break, pre-Easter, to celebrate my husband's birthday. Fabulous hotel, once the abode of ambassadors and film stars but now mainly frequented by business folk, and VIPs (judging by the permanently parked carbinieri outside). Hotel not stuffy in the least, with friendly staff, luxurious hotel rooms (ours was a suite, Room 304, so would have been larger than others) and hearty breakfasts to start the day. Free internet usage. The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Piazza Navona are within walking distance and the Barberini metro takes you further to the Vatican City and other attractions. No hesitation in returning here again!

  • “Classic Hotel ”

We returned in February in this classic Roman hotel, located in Via Veneto, famous in the years of "Dolce Vita" ... now much calmer. The hotel has been renovated and is always very friendly and pleasant. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Beautiful and spacious suite with fruit and flowers on arrival. Excellent breakfast in the morning. We will be back.

    “ Very friendly and pleasant.”

    “Perfect Hotel ”

When you combine professionalism and dedication to a historic structure and immersed in beautiful Rome, there can be no criticism GOOD!

“ When you combine professionalism and dedication there can be no criticism GOOD!”

    “Central and Elegant ”

The hotel is located in Via Veneto, close to shops, restaurants and elegant hotels, embassies of various countries, at the Teatro Sistina, the Swiss Institute of Culture, to the Villa Borghese. Reception halls and remember the glories of the past, when the hotel was attended by many diplomats. Now the crowd is diverse, but the choice and the service is prompt, the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. We were on holiday with a small dog and was readily accepted.

  • “Beautiful hotel very suitable for a romantic weekend ”

Great courtesy and professionalism from all staff from arrival to departure, perfectly clean, buffet breakfast with everything and more.

    “ Great courtesy and professionalism”

    “I loved it ”

The hotel is very beautiful and nice. Friendliest staff. The spacious and well furnished. It is located on the famous Via Veneto. A stay at this historic hotel in Rome is a step back in time: the hotel has maintained not only stylish and classic environment of a period home but also the atmosphere of a private house, elegant and welcoming.

“ The hotel is very beautiful and nice.”
