Cocktail & Pizza

Elements is the cocktail bar at the Royal Continental, a refined laboratory where science meets good drink and quality food, the ideal place to spend a contemporary and cosmopolitan evening.
Located on the ground floor of the hotel, in what was once the lobby, it is a refined and essential space that dialogues with the sea and Castel dell'Ovo through a spectacular glass wall that opens outward. The interior is dominated by a counter over eight meters long, framed by a cascade of copper petals-the site-specific artwork titled. It's Copper and Sea, created in 2005 by artist Quintino Scolavino - behind which are our chemists, ready to accompany guests in an experience made of surprising balances between flavors and essences.

Elements' specialties are cocktails and pizza: classic and signature cocktails (each dedicated to a famous scientist) and pizza in padellino, the typical culinary specialty of Turin, Rome and Aversa. Those at Elements were created with the advice of Roberta Esposito, the famous pizzaiola of Aversa: from classic to special, they are all made with ingredients chosen from the excellence of the area, PDOs and Slow Food Presidia. In addition, Roberta has trained our scientists in the kitchen, sharing with them her secrets, the ones that made her the first woman to be awarded three slices by the Gambero Rosso Guide: choosing the right flour, maturing the dough and baking it in a pan made nonstick by a layer of olive oil, which guarantees the pizza's unmistakable balance between softness and a slight crunch.
To experiment with new flavors and new formulas, pizza can be enjoyed paired with signature cocktails or classics, prepared with the finest spirits from around the world: more than 300 labels including gin, rum, whiskey, tequila and liqueurs, as well as an accurate assortment of champagnes and wines.

Elements is the ideal place for a special aperitif or a casual dinner: in fact, in addition to pizzas, we find tasty alternatives on the menu and is the benchmark of good drinking and quality food for those looking for a cosmopolitan experience set against the backdrop of the iconic beauty of the Bay of Naples.
